KCVI Charity Auction - Lyric Opera of Kansas City Ticket Package

The Kansas City Vocal Institute is holding our annual Charity Auction featuring items from many celebrities from all over the world.  Our private auction is just beginning.  It is a great opportunity to get many items at a cheaper price than in our public auction on ebay.  Also, it features some very unique items.  We will feature 4 items every two weeks to be auctioned.  Our next item up for bid is a ticket package from the Lyric Opera of Kansas City.

The Lyric Opera of Kansas City is in their debut season at the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. They have graciously donated a 2 seat redeemable package for any opera in 2012 to be auctioned benefiting their scholarship fund through the Kansas City Vocal Institute.  Upcoming shows include: Nixon in China - March 10-18 & The Barber of Seville - April 21-29.

KCVI Charity Auction - Stephen Flaherty Autographed CD "Seussical: The Musical"

The Kansas City Vocal Institute is holding our annual Charity Auction featuring items from many celebrities from all over the world.  Our private auction is just beginning.  It is a great opportunity to get many items at a cheaper price than in our public auction on ebay.  Also, it features some very unique items.  We will feature 4 items every two weeks to be auctioned.  Our next item up for bid is from Stephen Flaherty.

Stephen Flaherty is a Tony Award-winning composer.  He won the Tony for Best Original Score for Ragtime.  Mr. Flaherty was also a Grammy nominee, Golden Globe nominee, and Oscar nominee.  He is currently one of the world's most beloved composers of Musical Theater.  Mr. Flaherty has graciously donated this CD, Seussical: The Musical, to be auctioned benefiting his scholarship fund through the Kansas City Vocal Institute.  This musical was nominated for 8 Tony Awards.

Gregory Porter is a Grammy nominated jazz vocalist.  His album "Water" was nominated last year for the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album.  He has graciously donated this CD to be auctioned benefiting his scholarship fund through the Kansas City Vocal Institute.

KCVI Charity Auction - Eric Whitacre Handwritten & Autographed Score

The Kansas City Vocal Institute is holding our annual Charity Auction featuring items from many celebrities from all over the world.  Our private auction is just beginning.  It is a great opportunity to get many items at a cheaper price than in our public auction on ebay.  Also, it features some very unique items.  We will feature 4 items every two weeks to be auctioned.  Our first item up for bid is from composer Eric Whitacre.

Eric Whitacre is one of the world's premiere choral music composers.  His album "Cloudburst" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance in 2007.  We are honored to have a very unique item that he is offering up for auction this year.  Mr. Whitacre is offering to hand-write a composition of his and have all the proceeds benefit his scholarship fund through the Kansas City Vocal Institute.

ERIC WHITACRE HANDWRITTEN AND AUTOGRAPHED SCORE

The winning bid will be able to select from any of Mr. Whitacre's compositions to be handwritten in whole or in excerpt by Mr. Whitacre himself.  He will then dedicate the manuscript to whomever the winning bidder wishes and autograph the piece.
